Tim Rollins will be speaking on Wednesday, October 16 at 7:30 pm in the Mayo Concert Hall at The College of New Jersey. Rollins, a renowned artist and art educator, worked at the Intermediate School 52 in the South Bronx and developed a curriculum that incorporated art-making with reading and writing lessons for students classified as academically or emotionally “at risk.” He and his student collaborators, Kids Of Survival (K.O.S.), have been exhibiting work for over three decades.
